Snow Day!

We got a few inches of snow last week, nothing like the snow The Jefferies had, but enough to play in. This was Max's first time playing in it, and it was love at first sight. My little man could run and play in it all day long. And I do mean ALL day long. He threw quite a fit when we brought him inside. His gloves wouldn't stay on, so his hands were freezing and his mouth was blue. He loved eating it, laying in it, sledding in it, I could go on. Eventually I got the idea to bring a bucket of snow inside and let him play with it in the kitchen. This seemed to be a hit with Max, so he could enjoy the snow, and Damon and I didn't have to freeze outside.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Santa was good to Max this year!! He received tons of toys and clothes. His favorite toys so far are his wagon, basketball goal, mickey mouse, guitar, piggy bank, and aqua doodle. Bon Bon and Grandpa gave him a table and chair set and he loves to eat every meal at it, just like a big kid. Molly enjoys her new teething rings and books. Max became obsessed with Rudolph and wanted to watch it everyday. He loved the abominable snow monster and screamed everytime he came on. Damon and I enjoyed watching Herbie the Elf talk about how he wanted to be a dentist. Hopefully Max will forget about Rudolph until next year!

November has flown by!

Max and Molly both had their Dr appt's on Nov. 13 and both are doing great. Max's 15month check up consisted of him getting weighed, measured, and a shot. He is weighing in at a slim 22lbs! Molly's 1 month check up involved a bit more prodding and poking from the dr, but she did great. She weighs 8lbs 6oz and also only had to get 1 shot.

Molly is growing and changing every week, but she still likes to sleep most of the day and keep me up until 2am. She is smiling a lot, cooing, and does pretty well when I make her do tummy time. Max is talking up a storm! Although we can't understand him, we love to hear him walk around the house talking into his phone. He likes to try and feed himself, read books, dance (all the time), and take bubble baths.
