Introducing Molly Lynn Fahey

Molly Lynn was born Sunday October 11, 2009 at 7:54am. She weighed 7lbs 10.4oz and was 20 inches long. I had a c section scheduled for Wednesday Oct. 14, however my water broke at 5:30am on the 11th and she arrived a bit later via c section. So far she loves to eat, sleep, and poop. She is slowly beginning to stay awake longer during the day and sleeping 4 hrs straight through the night. Max is very curious about his little sister and likes to watch me change her and put her in her swing and bouncy seat. Damon and I are both exhausted, but it's amazing how quickly you adjust to little sleep!

Pumpkin Picking!

Today we went to Hubers Farm to pick pumpkins, eat lunch, and let Max run around. He was a little unsteady trying to walk through the pumpkin patch because of all the hay and roots on the ground, but he loved seeing all the pumpkins. We ate a picnic lunch outside and then headed over to the goats to watch them play and eat. By the time we left, it was super crowded and Max was asleep within 5 minutes. We bought a daddy pumpkin, a mommy pumpkin, a wee man pumpkin (that's Max), and a mini pumpkin for baby Molly who will arrive Oct. 14.

The Ladies Man

The moms group met this past week at Seneca Park and Max had a great time walking around the playground, climbing up the slide, swinging, and kicking his soccer ball. He also enjoyed hanging out with Julia, Avery, Anna, Mallory, and Elizabeth. Avery is the blond in the orange shirt, who is Max's girlfriend. So far Max is the only boy in the group, but he doesn't mind!

Max or Maxine??

Sara sent some girl clothes for the baby and Max fell in love with the plaid tutu skirt. He kept putting it on his head and walking around with it, so I put the skirt on him. He didn't seem to mind too much.....

Big Head, Little body

Max had his 12 month check up this past Friday and he is a healthy, growing boy! He had to get 3 shots, plus we added the flu shot, so he had a total of 4 shots, 2 in each leg. He was a trooper! I think he liked all the band aids they put on him. He weighs 20.5 pounds (15% percentile), 28 inches long (5% percentile) and his head is in the 75% percentile. The doctor joked that he has bruises on his forehead because his little body can't hold up his big head. Ha! Ha! He is growing well and continues to move up the growth chart at every check up. He walks everywhere now, still running into things and bumping his head, knees, arms, etc..but he always gets back up and keeps playing.
We got the ok from the doctor to move Max to a new car seat that faces forward. He loves being able to see out the window, plus he has his own cup holder for his juice, what more could a boy ask for?
