Old man with his walker

My cousin Jessica and Thad were nice enough to give us a walking toy that their little girl Elizabeth was no longer using. Max loves it and looks so funny walking with it. It plays music and sings songs which he loves, but I'm not a big fan. Damon says he looks like an old man with his walker.

Memorial Day Weekend

We headed to Huber's Farm on Monday to pick lots of strawberries. Max liked to sit in the field and play with the straw while mom and dad picked the berries. Luckily he loves to eat strawberries, because we picked 6lbs.

We joined Oxmoor Country Club this past weekend and enjoyed spending the day at the pool. Max loved the baby pool and watching the other kids play. The pool water was FREEZING!! Damon enjoyed playing golf and I enjoyed the concession stand ;)

Crawling forward

Max has been crawling backwards for a few weeks now. He tends to get where he wants to go by rolling or doing the baby moonwalk. The last few days though we have noticed he slowly crawls forward to get around or to reach a toy. This time I caught him on camera heading for the bookshelf. Pretty soon he will be crawling so fast I won't be able to keep up with him!

Party Pants and movie night

The Fahey family

Momma and Max
These are Max's party pants, or old man golf pants. He wore them to a birthday party and received many compliments, even though Damon was embarassed. I love them!

The kiddos fascinated with a Baby Einstein DVD, while the adults ate dinner.

Max with his sippy cup and watching Baby Einstein.

Max's buddy Nolan Sanford. They are 5 months apart. He is a cutie!

Oaks and Derby 2009

Damon and I had a great day at the track Oaks Day. We didn't win any money, but had fun spending the day with friends and the rain held off. Max spent the day with Aunt Taylor playing, eating, and not taking a nap-sorry Taylor! Derby day we headed to a friends house for a Derby party where Damon won the Derby horse drawing and walked away with $100. Max was a charmer as always and was asleep by 8pm. He liked trying on my Oaks hat, the feathers tickled his nose.
