Checkups

Max and Molly both had their wellness checkups this past Friday. Max had his 18 month and Molly had her 4 month. They are both doing great and moving up the growth chart. Max charmed the docter by laughing, smiling, and smelling her feet when she asked where his toes were. Molly was awake the whole time, chewing on her hand and showing the docter how well she can stand, hold her head up, and talk. They cried for just a minute when they got their shots and then both fell asleep. Molly got the ok to start eating rice cereal, so we tried it on Sunday and she liked it. Hopefully this will help her sleep a bit longer at night. Max is getting use to going to school. He didn't cry last week when I dropped him off and his teachers tell me that he doesn't stop moving the whole time he's there. Needless to say, he takes a great nap when he gets home!

All about Kids

Lately we have been frequent guests at All About Kids. It's an indoor gym with moon bouces, trampolines, foam block pits etc..Max LOVES it! He goes nonstop the whole time we are there. He gets mad when we take a break to eat lunch and throws a fit when it's time to leave. He loves the trampoline runway that ends with a huge foam block pit. Molly gets to enjoy the action in the baby carrier. Here is a video of Max on the trampoline.

Cold and dreary February

Since we have been stuck inside so much with cold snowy weather, I have had to think of creative things to do with Max to keep him busy. Finger painting, paint with water, coloring with crayons, cooking with cheerios, books, bowling, baking cookies, etc...We have had a few melt downs and a couple of time outs, but for the most part he has been good. There is a picture of him below in time out, in the corner facing the wall. Molly has been good too, playing in her exersaucer, swing, and jungle gym. She loves to talk all the time, smile, laugh and watch her big brother run around the house. Max is 18 months old and Molly is 4 months, time sure has flown by!!

First Haircut

We took Max to Short Cuts for Kids to get his first official haircut. I have trimmed it in the past, but it was needing a fresh cut from a professional. He did great and we were in and out in 10 minutes. Molly hung out in her car seat, watching her big brother. She's starting to lose her hair these days, but she's still cute as can be!
